Highlander Booster Club

Statement of Purpose:

  • To encourage and support athletes and athletic programs at Governor Livingston High School.

  • To provide financial assistance in meeting specific objectives when requested by the Athletic Director and/or coaches and staff.

  • To provide a forum and a continuing communication line between parents, coaches, the Athletic Director, and the Berkeley Heights Board of Education.

  • To stimulate interest in the development of and support of all athletic teams and programs throughout the communities of Berkeley Heights and Mountainside.

  • To recognize the achievements of individual athletes and teams.

  • To make athletic events enjoyable for players, coaches, and fans.

  • To celebrate the athletic and academic achievements of student athletes.

The Highlander Booster Club, an IRS-approved 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is funded by member dues, donations, GL merchandise sales and various other fundraisers.  Please support our Highlander Booster Club athletes by joining today. The HBC meets monthly and we welcome your membership and volunteerism!

Bylaws

The Highlander Booster Club is a volunteer organization of parents and other community members whose common goal is to enhance the athletic experience for all Highlander athletes and athletic teams. 

Athletic Team Fundraising

  1. All fundraisers must be approved by Mr. CJ Hendricks, Director of Athletics.  The fundraising form(s) can be downloaded from the HBC website, completed and submitted via scanning.  Please email the following parties on all fundraising requests- Director of Athletics, Email Mr. CJ Hendricks, Sport Specific Head Coach, All Team Parents (some programs have 2 parents), email the HBC Treasurer.

  2. All fundraisers must be conducted under the direction of a team parent and operated under the HBC, Town and State regulations.  Please take special note about the approval procedures outlined and required by the Department of Law and Public Safety (Office of the Attorney General) Division of Gaming Enforcement and the Berkeley Heights Town Ordinances for all games of chance and "box pools". 

  3. All collection of funds should be via the HBC Flipcause Account.  This is the most cost effective and best record collection system.  Please email the HBC Teasurer for more information.
