The Governor Livingston Parent Teacher Organization (GLPTO)

Join the Governor Livingston PTO!

Please help the GL PTO continue to bring great programs to Governor Livingston by paying your annual dues and by making a generous donation.  We can’t do what we do without you! We thank you in advance for your generosity and support!

The GLPTO needs your support!

Many of the programs, benefits and services provided at GLHS are funded by the PTO.  We subsidize Student Appreciation days and provide scholarships to 25 seniors. We also organize events like the Senior Breakfast, Senior Picnic and Project Graduation, a fun celebration open to all seniors on the night of Graduation.

We have also funded many features within and around the school which benefit all of our students. Please see below for a short list of enhancements provided by GLPTO for the past 10 years!

The GLPTO also enhances the in-classroom experience by providing the teachers with grants for classroom needs, staff appreciation days and staff recognition.  In addition, as needed we organize relevant parent programs to support our families overall, such as the annual presentation by Randy Levin on best practices for successful college applications.

On average the GLPTO spends $8,000 on programs and purchases at the high school. We urge every family to give what they can to support our programs so that every child can have a great experience at GL!

All members are welcome to attend all meetings where committee chairs and administrators provide regular updates on Curriculum, Budget, BOE and School news.
