A native of New Jersey, I earned my B.A. in art education and M.A. in studio art with honors specializing in watercolor at Kean University. Upon entry into Kean University, I was the recipient of the College of Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship. I had the privilege of expanding my education and traveling to Brazil and Italy, an experience that has deepened my understanding of cultures, history, and art. Before coming to the Berkeley Heights school district, I previously taught K-8th grade art for two years in Elizabeth. In addition, I have exhibited as both a solo and group artist. I have also had works published in various fine arts-related journals and magazines throughout my career.
