  • Student achievement is a measure of a student's proficiency as determined by a number of summative  assessments. These include but are not limited to GPA, course grades, subject-matter/benchmark assessments and "standardized" measures that vary across subjects and grade levels. This can also include portfolio assessments or other performance measures with students for the fine, practical and performing arts.
    Indicators of student achievement:
    Benchmark assessments, DIBELS, ACT, AP, APA, ASK, HSPA, PARCC, SAT, Attendance rate, Passing rate, Promotion rate, College acceptances, Graduation rate, Recognitions for Character, Service, Performance in the areas of art, music, athletic and extracurricular

  • The NHS conducts peer tutoring for students in the district in most subjects, course level, and grade.  Any student that is in need of additional support may e-mail the NHS at glnhs@bhpsnj.org to request tutoring.
