Music Fest POSTPONED: Due to the inclement weather forecast, the Music Fest is postponed until Friday, May 20th. The times will remain the same. The Mary Kay March fundraiser will also be postponed until May 20th. Registration for this event will be open until Tuesday, May 17th.
AASA, The School Superintendents Association, has launched a new, groundbreaking initiative called More Than a Power Lunch: Building Networks to Support and Advance Women in School Leadership. The purpose of the project is to help mitigate the impact of social barriers women face in ascending to the top leadership positions within our school systems and to significantly increase the number of women seeking and becoming CEOs and superintendents of schools. Berkeley Heights' Judy Rattner is one of the 10 successful women leaders, representing a variety of roles within the education and business community, to participate in the national consortium. As per the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) (P.L.2010, c.122), the Berkeley Heights Public Schools has posted its Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act grades on the school district's home page and to each individual school's webpage. Click the image to see more.
Because only two of the four days allotted for emergency school closings were used this year, all district schools will be closed on Friday, May 27th, and Tuesday, May 31st.
