  • The Berkeley Heights Board of Education has approved a revision to the district’s 2014-2015 calendar which establishes Friday, May 22, 2015, as a day that school will not be in session as long as there are no more emergency closing days this school year. An additional six (6) days were built into the 2014-2015 school calendar in the event of emergency closings; five (5) of those days have been used as of March 13, 2015. As per past practice in the Berkeley Heights Public Schools, any unused emergency closing (snow) days are “given back” as a day later in the academic year on which school will be closed for students and 10-month staff.
